Auto crash: Singer Djinee narrowly escapes death

Nigerian R and B singer popularly known as Djinee, narrowly escaped death on Monday when he was involved in an auto crash.

The crash, according to one James Abinibi, who said he is his friend, occurred on Monday around 1:00 a.m. in Lekki.

Abinibi offered the information on his Instagram page.

“My friend @djinee was involved in a ghastly accident around 1 am somewhere in Lekki. It’s a miracle he survived. He’s currently receiving treatment and recovering accordingly. Please keep him in your prayers. His phone lines are not available at the moment but you can reach me if it’s important,” wrote James Abinibi.

He shared photos of the car as well as a video.

The singer came into limelight with the song ‘Ego’ which quickly rose on the charts.

More recently his song ‘Find You’ received great reviews and airplay as well.
